Roof rats are the #1 rodent issue in Alachua County. They enter through gaps in Spanish tile, chewed lead vent boots, and rotted soffit returns. Bat colonies are common in older bungalows near UF and Duckpond. FL law prohibits bat exclusion Apr 15 – Aug 15, which can delay closings 4+ months if not planned for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
